Basic Sniper Certication 

What to Expect

This is a 40 hour basic sniper training certification for law enforcement only.  Al Schultz of F.A.S.T. Response LLC is certified to train law enforcement in the basic principles and fundamentals of law enforcement marksmanship.  This course will give departments officers trained in tactical precision shooting and observation for high-threat environments.

Successful completion of this course will certify that the officer has become familiar with their specific weapon platform and proficient in each of the curriculum topics.  The course curriculum will cover topics such as: rifle and range safety, marksmanship fundamentals, positional shooting, cold bore and data book documentation, zeroing, rifle handling skills, weapons maintenance, roles and responsibilities of the Marksmen/Observer Team, moving target engagement, engaging intermediate barriers, proficiency course of fire, night visions and dim light firing, and introduction to urban tactics.

 

The course will culminate in a written examination and a certification of completion on the basic sniper principles.

The Course will run from March 23rd to 26th, 2020 and will be 40 hours.

This is a hands on course at a range in Bremerton, WA.  You will be expected to come prepared to shoot in any type of weather.  A list of necessary gear you will be expected to bring will be sent to you upon registration and payment.

Basic Qualifications to Attend

  • This is for active law enforecment only

  • You must be able to supply the necessary equipment needed for the training.

Cost

$1,100 per person to be paid at time of registration.  Room and food are not included and must be arranged by each student.
